double bass drum chops wanted!

hi all,
been working on my dble bass drum technique lately ,but find myself limited when it comes to chops.
i'm not into that show-off thing,i only wanna be able to play some nice chops when i do a solo.i leave the rest to Virg and his clones.
not that i don't like it,i just don't have the use for it when i'm on a gig.
so i'm lookin' for some chops that you guys may use,being too lazy to learn it from a book. [img]redface.gif[/img] [img]redface.gif[/img]
i'm sur some of you there could show me some of the stuff Vinnie or any of those cats use every once in a while in solos.
it's kind of hard to figure out what they play cos' most of the times it's wau too fast and i can't really tell what's going on between feet and hands.
so any help would be appreciated.if you have any nice hand -feet sticking that i can feed on...just go ahead.

Steve has some good stuff on one of his lessons......RH/LF/LH/RF. Paradiddles and doubles......just this alone should keep you going for days

Well, theres always various groups of 4's and 2's over 16th note triplets which sounds cool and effectively busy if played cleanly. 4 = RLRL and 2 = FF. Since you're dealing with groups of 6 notes per quarter-note you can mix and match 4's and 2's and assign them to your hands or feet, get them clean, then experiment with different sounding orchestrations around the kit.
On of my favorite licks is RLRL FF R FF (repeat) over 16th note trips (9 notes = dotted quarter note phrase). I use that one a lot.

Play em however you want...it sounds great as 16th triplets..

ok........thats looks like shite so ill do it like this....and play it how you want but it goes nice over 16th trips. Also makes a great single kik fill too. Dont wory that its an eleven note grouping...just squeeze it into a phrase and keep it in the pocket.

Steve-that chop you're talkin' about is the nine right???
it's cool but i can play it with only one foot like everybody does i guess.
maybe my post wasn't clear enough.
i'd like some chops with both feet included and maybe some hand sticking goin' on over it right?
i'm not even sure myself since i can't figure out what is being displayed when i hear that kind of stuff.
the only thing i know is that it has to be or at least seem,busy and loud!!! [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
